So we successfully signed our lease agreement today. Our new landlord is very personable and agreed to let us start moving our stuff in even though we don’t take possession of the place until next Saturday.

The upshot is that moving day started today. We deconstructed our Murphy bed and donated the side cabinets to the Salvation Army along with a boatload of household items. Again our Mantra is ‘reduce, reduce, reduce’.  We actually got a few boxes of our stuff packed and transferred to the new place (we call it the transition house). Next weekend will be the big move where we move all the furniture etc. I have a gig on Friday night so I will be hitting the ground running after rocking out the night before. Not to mention a full week of practice leading up to the show. If we survive the next month or so we can start to slow down a bit (hopefully)

Unless, of course one of the job apps I put in on Kauai bears fruit. Then all bets are off.
